How to Make Diaper Cupcakes
Diaper cupcakes are not actually cupcakes that you eat, but diapers rolled up to look like cupcakes. They make a great gift for the mom-to-be when you just want to give a little something. They can also double as baby shower decorations if you are hosting a baby shower.

What you'll need:
Diapers (size 1 or 2 works best)
Small rubber bands
Cupcake picks (optional)
Take one diaper and lay it flat (print side up) on a hard surface.
Fold it in half lengthwise.
Starting at one end, roll up the diaper at an angle until you get to the other end. Secure with a small rubber band.
Tie with curling ribbon and remove the rubber band. Curl the ends of the ribbon. Put in a paper muffin cup.
Insert a decorative pick in the middle if desired. We made the the picks shown by attaching felt covered heart stickers to both sides of a toothpick.
If you are giving these as a gift, you can put them in a cupcake box or wrap them in cellophane or tulle and tie with some ribbon.
If you are also using them as decorations for your baby shower, try displaying them on a cupcake tower or stand. You could also make a centerpiece in the middle of each table.
Roll the diapers as tight as possible and make sure to roll them up at an angle to get the appearance of icing.
Use good quality diapers (like Pampers) in size 1 or 2.
Add cupcake picks or colored paper shred to dress them up.
