Barbeque Baby Shower Menu
A barbeque baby shower menu works great for an outdoor shower and a co-ed or couples shower. Lets face it, most men don't look forward to a baby shower, but they do love barbecues. Serve up some grilled chicken wings, pulled pork sandwiches and some ice cold beer and they might even enjoy themselves ;-).
BBQ Baby Shower Menu:
Pulled Pork Sandwiches-
- Boston Butt (Pork shoulder) 4-7 pounds, boneless. Just make sure it will fit in your slow cooker.
- 1/4 cup water
- salt and pepper
- Barbeque sauce- any kind
Season the pork and place it in your oiled slow cooker with the water. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour. Then turn on low and cook for 7-9 hours.
Remove from slow cooker and discard the fat and juices. Shred the pork and return to the slow cooker. Add desired amount of barbeque sauce to your taste and heat until warm.
Serve with buns and extra barbeque sauce on the side.
Grilled Chicken Wings-
Marinate your wings overnight in your favorite marinade (we suggest Mojo Creole or Lawry's carribean jerk).
Sprinkle with more spices before putting on the grill. Cook on medium heat, turning often, until cooked through.
