Baby Shower Games
Love them
or hate them, baby shower games and
activities are a great way to break the ice, help guests interact that
don't know each other, and give your guests something to do.
Most hostesses prefer to start the games after everyone has had a chance to eat and mingle a little. However, feel free to play an icebreaker game as soon as most of the guests have arrived.
We recommend playing 2-4 party games depending on how many guests you are expecting and which ones you decide to play. Overall, try to keep the game time down to 20-30 minutes total.
When choosing games/activities
keep in mind:
-
What would the mom-to-be would like? When in doubt, ask. See if she has any favorite games or any she would rather not play.
-
The size of the guest list. If you have a really large group some games may take too long.
-
Your budget. Most of our game ideas are pretty inexpensive, but some craft ideas can get a little pricey if you have a large group.
