Baby Shower Door Prize Games /Icebreakers

Get the party started as soon as your guests arrive with these baby shower door prize games and icebreakers.

Door prize games don't take long to play and require very little materials. These games are also great for co-ed baby showers or groups that don't really like to play traditional baby shower games.

Diaper Raffle- new parents are going to need a lot of diapers. This is a fun way to encourage people to bring diapers.

Guests bring a package of unopened diapers or wipes for a chance to win a prize. As each guest arrives with a package of diapers, you give them a raffle ticket or have them put their name on a piece of paper. Put all the names or tickets in a bowl. Draw one ticket (or more) out of the pile. Give the winner a prize.

You will need to put something on the invitations so that the guests know about the diaper raffle. Here are some cute diaper raffle wording ideas/poems for the invitations:

Bring a pack of diapers, any shape or size, to enter a raffle, and win a great prize!

A package of diapers or wipes for little ol' me would really help my parents-to-be. So please bring a package any size, did I mention it could win you a really great prize?

I would make this prize special. Guests are spending money to enter the raffle so make it worth it. Some good prizes would be a gift card to a restaurant, a gift basket, spa gift certificate or something that you know the people attending the shower would enjoy.

Baby shower door prize games:

Guess how many

Fill a jar or large baby bottle with jelly beans or any other small candy. Have each person guess how many jelly beans are inside. The person who gets the closest wins.

Materials: jar or baby bottle, candy, paper and pencil

variation: fill a large, clear storage container with diapers and have everyone guess how many diapers are inside. The person who guesses the closest gets a prize and mom gets to keep all the diapers.

Envelope drawing

As each guest arrives, have them write their name and address on an envelope (like they are addressing it to themselves) and put in a basket. The person who's name is drawn out of the basket wins a prize.

Give the stamped envelopes (along with some thank-you cards) to mom-to-be. Now she has thank-you cards already addressed and stamped. All she has to do is sign them. This is one baby shower door prize game that the mommy-to-be will surely appreciate!

Materials: thank-you cards with envelopes, stamps, pen, basket or bowl to put envelopes in
