Baby Mikaela's Magical World

Here is a four tier square diaper cake sent in by Sarrah. The following instructions are in her own words:

I followed the basic instructions for the square diaper cake but did 4, 3, 2, 1 tiers instead of just 3, 2, 1. The bottom tier has 15 diapers in each row, 3rd tier has 12, 2nd has 8, and the top tier is 5. I alternated ribbon colors - using pink to secure each row on the bottom and the 2nd tier, and yellow to secure each row for the third and top tier. I then used a baby animal printed ribbon to secure all of the rows of diapers together on each tier.

I folded up a pretty baby blanket and put it between the bottom and third tier, with the "baby" portion of it propped up a bit. I then used a bib between the second and top tier, and let it hang down. I attached pacifiers and small decorative rattles using thin green ribbon. I tucked miniature bottles of baby lotion, shampoo, etc into the ribbon on the third tier.

I added a yellow bow to the front of the top tier, and propped a pink stuffed hippo on the very top. There are also baby wrist rattles on the front of the bottom row, wrapped around the ribbon.
